Remote Virtual Serial Port Advanced Settings

Network Serial Port Kit allows you to configure bitrate emulation and type of virtual null-modem cable for each shared virtual serial port individually.

Select shared virtual serial port and click button.

Bitrate Emulation

Enabling "bitrate emulation", you limit data transmission speed to that one that was specified by communications application (using Baud Rate setting). If "bitrate emulation" is disabled, transmission speed depends on bandwidth of the network connection.

Type of Null-Modem Cable (Pinouts)

Network Serial Port Kit allows you to create different types of virtual null-modem cables. Refer to Using Different Null-Modem Schemes for details.
