Webcam for Remote Desktop Case Studies

Here is a short video demonstrating how local webcam and joystick plugged to IGEL thin client can be redirected to Windows Virtual Desktop cloud session.

I'm working mostly in my home-office. Here I have a silent pc with absolutely 0 db. However this pc is not very strong and for my work I use a mobile Workstation that tends to get noisy. This Workstation is running (as loud as it wants) in my basement and I'm simply connecting through RDP from my silent PC to it.

RDP does not support webcam redirection so we tried to redirect our webcams as USB devices at the beginning. Unfortunately such type of redirection requires huge network channel in order to work smooth, also it’s very sensitive to network latency. Then we found Webcam for Remote Desktop.
