Hi,

1) "Windows - PCoIP through AWS Client - Windows" scheme.
- Regarding 3.1.9.2201 version of x32 Windows AWS Client.
You can find it here (just scroll to Windows and click on "Latest 32 Bit client. Download"):
https://clients.amazonworkspaces.com/
- Please describe "but now won't work on a new laptop" issue in more detail.

2) "macOS - PCoIP through AWS Client - Windows" scheme.
The latest version of macOS AWS Client uses a signed modules.
There was no such requirement before. We'll add the required module 1-2 weeks.
Please use a previous versions of macOS AWS Client as a workaround:

Any word on when the 64 bit client will be supported? The 32 bit client has significant audio lag issues on my set up.

Hi again,

As I posted on another thread you can find the workaround for x64 Windows AWS Client here ("DLL copying" section):

That seemed to work. Hopefully it continues to work.

Ever since I did this, the AUDIO has been very spotty in the workspace, it starts to attenuate shortly into the call, and i have to mute and reconnect with another device. Is there a patch yet for this?

Hi,

With help of Webcam for Remote Desktop product you can redirect a video steam only.
I mean you are using a sound redirection through a native feature of PcoIP protocol but not through our product.

I get that, but the audio problems manifested after I used the workaround above, will that video library be patched officially soon?

I suspect its doing something that makes the native drivers unhappy, since its a 32 bit library...

Is there a release date for the update?

Hi again,

Sorry, but we're going in circles.

Although my WebCam is working when accessing my Amazon Workspace from my Windows 10 PC, the Web Cam no longer works in my Amazon Workspace while I'm on my MacIntosh; it worked on my MacIntosh a few weeks ago. I've tried different versions of the Amazon Client software on my MacIntosh--so far, it still doesn't work.  While using a Web Cam Test website to test if the camera works, I get a message "Camera Not Authorized".  On my Mac, I checked System Preferences > Privacy & Security, and made sure that "Workspaces" is permitted to access my WebCam.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Hello, please try the following:

1) Go to Start menu on the AWS side, click Settings > Privacy.
Then click on Camera tab and turn on Let apps use my camera or Allow apps to access your camera (depending on Windows version).
2) Launch regedit and create a REG_DWORD values named EnableFrameServerMode with the value 0 in the following registry locations, then restart your AWS machine:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Media Foundation\Platform
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows Media Foundation\Platform

Thanks for your response. I actually already had these settings in place (except that my Amazon Workspace is running Server 2016, and the Camera option under Privacy isn't available). However, Web Cam works successfully from all of my Windows PCs in my Amazon Workspace, but not from my MacIntosh (and I've set the Privacy settings there to allow Workspaces to access my Camera).  I will uninstall the FabulaTech Remote WebCam software from my Mac, and also uninstall the Amazon Workspace Client software. I will then reboot and reinstall both, and let you know what happens.

What's the actual error message? Is it "No connection to workstation module" or "No connected devices found"?

Uninstalling both the FabulaTech WebCam software and the Amazon Workspace Client software from my Mac, and then reinstalling, did not help.
My WebCam works successfully in my Amazon Workspace when I log in from my Windows 10 PC, but not when I log in from my MacIntosh.  Here's the message I see on my Workspace when logged in from my Mac: "Camera not authorized. Please check you media permissions settings."
On my MacIntosh, in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy, when I click on "Camera" on the left, the box is checked for "Workspaces" under "Allow the apps below to access your camera".
Thanks.

Hi,

Do you see your web camera in Webcam for Remote Desktop (server) GUI?

Yes.  When I click on the FabulaTech icon in the System Tray, I can see it.  Even though the message I am getting is about permissions to access the WebCam, the WebCam does indeed work when I use the Amazon Workspaces Client software to log into my Workspace from my Windows PCs.
