Title: Virtual Serial Port Control Post by sunny_syed on Jan 11th, 2013, 10:56pm I have installed Virtual Serial Port Control and I am able to create a port and see the data that is being forwarded by using the windows type command type "text.txt" >> COM7 This command lets me see the output to the port COM7 on the data filter program. However, when I try this with a different program that communicates with COM7 The data filter program shows that the port open and closes but no data comes through the port. The issues is that the program using the virtual port opens the port but waits for the port to reply back with the number 12. However, since the Virtual Serial Port Control does not reply to the request made by the program the program never sends the data. So is there anyways I can reply to the request from the virtual port? |
