Usually error “module:FtShellApp(262)” appears when software service is off. To recover application`s functionality you need to restart the service. To do it right click on “My Computer” icon, choose “Manage” --> Services --> Look for “Virtual Serial Port Kit Service” and turn it on or click “Restart”. If the problem persist please provide us with more information: - What is the remote application you were writing about? - What version of Virtual Serial Port Kit are you using? - What OS do you use?
