USB for Remote Desktop Ports?

Hello-

We have are able to successfully connect to a Windows 2012r2 server over Citrix ICA from one location. From another location all we see is the 'No connection to workstation module' in the USB for Remote Desktop admin UI. Tried restarting services many times on workstation that is unable to connect. It is able to connect to other environments with USB for Remote Desktop without issue, so we are thinking that the problem is communications and not config. The environment is pretty well locked down. Can get to all the Citrix apps just fine - just can't connect USB device. Are there ports/protocols we need to configure to get things working? Thought it all piggy-backed on the ICA connection...

Thanks,
Chad

-No connection to workstation module
-Citrix ICA
-Works from one location but not 'external' location with more boundaries
-Same exact USB device in both scenarios
-Have run through troubleshooting steps in help files many times (services restart)

Hi,

I would advise you to check the status of FabulaTech services on USB for Remote Desktop (workstation) PC.
Run them if needed.

Supervisor service and Workstation Core services both running on workstation. Wish it was as simple as services not running.

Have attempted restart/reboot many times to get successful connection. Can get nothing from USB for Remote Desktop but 'No connection to workstation module' over Citrix ICA. Same result from other workstations with the USB for Remote Desktop workstation installed: Nobody able to connect. Since the connection works from another client environment, the primary suspect is some type of port/protocol block. Hoping to get a clue as to what ones should be expected to be open when using USB for Remote Desktop over Citrix ICA.

Thanks,
Chad
