Dear Sergey, we still have the problem with the support of Arduino boards in Windows Server 2016.

When can I expect support for Windows 2016?

When can I expect support for libusb-win32 for Arduino boards?

Greetings, Michael

sorry for the lack of clarity Sergey

I was referring to the opening message in this thread

"Boards with a FTDI USB serial converter are OK, but the Arduino UNO and the Arduino MEGA 2650 do not work.

The device Manager shows all boards, but the Arduino IDE is not able to get the board information or upload any "sketch" "

But as it is I've got it working now, although  I do have another issue, which I'll open a new thread on.

I'd appreciate some help on this as well please.

We have just started testing the fabulatech software on our igel terminals which connect into Windows 10 VDI.  The vast majority of USB devices work ok, but we can't get the arduino boards working.

We've installed the drivers, but nothing is showing in device manager.

any ideas?

Hi,

Let me know the current FW version of your Igel TC and version of USB for Remote Desktop (server).
Confirm that you see Arduino device in USB for Remote Desktop (server) GUI on the remote side within RD session and can activate (connect) it there?
Open Device Manager, View - Devices by connection, find FabulaTech Virtual USB Host Controller 3, open it. Do you see the redirected device there?

Thanks for the quick reply!

I'm just waiting for an extended trial key as it's expired.  Once we get that I'll have a look and let you know.

Hello Sergey,

since there are new posts on the thread, I want to ask if support for Arduino boards for RDS hosts 2016/2019/2022 is now guaranteed?

best regards,

Michael

Hi,

Yes if:
- you have a device driver for 2016/2019/2022 OS;
- app for device is intended for use within RD session.
