Acrobat Reader and USB for Remote Desktop

Hello,

after installling USB for Remote Desktop (Version 5.1 or 5.1.1) Acrobat Reader doesn't start any more. I can see AcroRd32.exe and RdrCEF.exe in the process list, but no window opens.
It doesn't matter how to log on (local, Remote Desktop, normal User, lokal Administrator).
After uninstalling USB for Remote Desktop everything works fine again.
Environment:
Windows Server 2008 R2 with Remote Desktop Service, Virtual Machine on VMWare ESXi 6.0
Acrobat Reader DC Version 2015.10.20060
Does anybody knows a solution?

Best regards

Hi !
I would advise you to do the following:
- close Acrobat Reader processes;
- stop FabulaTech services;
- run Acrobat Reader;
- choose Edit - Preferences - Security (Enhanced) - uncheck "Enable Protected Mode at startup";
- start FabulaTech services.

That works - thank you!

If anybody needs the registry key for creating a group policy:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\Privileged
bProtectedMode (REG_DWORD) is per default: 1
To deaktivate Protected Mode change to "0"
