Server side only shows 'Running in local session'.

I have USB for Remote Desktop loaded as server in a Win7 VM running on virtualbox hosted in Ubuntu server. I also have it loaded on a Win7 desktop as the workstation where I want to share my USB devices from. In the VM, I'm expecting to see a list of the devices that I have plugged in on the workstation, but the only thing that I see is a message that says 'Running in local session'. I have tried a couple of things with no joy...not sure where to go from here for troubleshooting...

Request Assistance...thanx!

Hi
Please do the following:
1) Check if NetLink services are running: “NetLink supervisor service" on the workstation side, "NetLink session service" and "NetLink supervisor service" on the server side. Launch them if needed.
2) Check if the service USB for Remote Desktop is running on the physical side.
