USB Device not Working with Windows Server 2003

I downloaded USB for Remote Desktop (Workstation and Server), version 2.7. My configuration is as follows: Workstation: Windows XP, SP2, 32-bit Server: Windows 2003 Server, Standard Edition, 32-bit, SP2 I performed the following steps: 1) Redirected my USB device (a PC-based Electrocardiograph) using the workstation console. It displayed "Ready for Redirection". However, the name of the device changed to a generic title: "Shared USB Device". 2) I initiated a Remote Desktop session by typing "mstsc /console" into the "Run" window. 3) I connected to the remote server. 4) I opened the server console, and it displayed my connection ID and the redirected device. Since the device is a plug and play device, the Found New Hardware Wizard appeared immediately. The wizard was unable to detect the driver, however. The screens on both computers "blink" at regular intervals; the workstation console alternates between displaying "Ready for Redirection" and "Redirected"; the server console alternates between displaying a connected device and displaying no devices. I've tried manually installing the driver without success. I've installed the driver and operated the device on multiple other machines with no problems. Will you please give me some troubleshooting advice? Thank you very much.
