Error installing on server

Hi,
I am trying to install the server side on a Windows 2003 R2 Standard machine. The msi package gives me an error when trying to load up. The error code is 2755. Is there a special update or anything that i might need to install to get this working on this machine?

The workstation side of it installed fine on a Windows XP machine.

Please download the latest version of USB FOR REMOTE DESKTOP - version 1.1.2. It is available by this link
http://fabulatech.com/usb-for-remote-desktop-download.html

If the problem still occurs, please do the following.

1) 'Start' - 'run' - 'cmd'
2) setup.msi /l*xv log.txt
3) send this log.txt to our email - support[at]fabulatech.com

We are ready to give careful consideration to your case.

hi,

i have sent an email to you at support[at]fabulatech.com with my log. I looked at it myself but didn't really have a close look. Has it got something to do with my security permissions? I did try installing as an administrator...

Also, when setting up, will I need to install the device drivers on the server?

Thank you! We are working on your log-files.

Yes, please install your device drivers to both sides.
Though our software virtualizes USB-device, it does not redirect its drivers.

Hello,

Problem has been resolved. Thought it might have been it... just had to update Windows Installer to the latest version and it works a treat now! Thought it would've done that in automatic updates but i guess not!

Thanks anyway and will let you know of my success with this software and what I am trying to achieve.
