USB over Network 5.2 Connection issue

Hello All,

I'm running USB over Network 5.2 and have seen an issue where the client looses connection to the server after about an hour or so. The client PC must be rebooted to restore connectivity. The odd thing is that there is no network drop out, the client machine is still able to access the public internet and also access other PC's on the LAN. The connection for both the server machine and the client are all hard wired into a switch, no WiFi. Any idea what may be causing this? The switch is a non managed switch, a Netgear GS105 Gigabit switch.

Thank you,

- Marshal

Hi
Do you use 5.2 version on both (client/server) sides?
What do you mean by "client looses connection" ? Can you check the availability of your server on the client side using ping? Make the screenshot of USB over Network (client) GUI at that time and send to me.
Awaiting your clarification.

Hello Sergey,

Sure, the client PC is still able to ping the server when this issue occurs. Basically the client simply does not see the server, like it's been removed or something. If you try to add it back when you go to brows there is an error. Also there is an error that pops up if you try to get into the settings.

I have screen shots for you, what email address should I send these to?

Thank you,

Hi Marshal,

I don't understand your statement "the client simply does not see the server".
Please clarify.
Check the status of "FabulaTech USB over Network (Client Core)" service at that moment.
You can send the screenshots to support@fabulatech.com.
