USB over network speed issues

Hello,  
 
I would like to know what the max speed of the USB over network is. Is there a way to change speed settings ? The speed is not nearly enough. On long distance its real slow.

What do you mean by "max speed of the USB over network"?
One clarification.
Our SW isn't the real time solution. The speed of virtual device is related to network latency and network bandwidth. Additionally we are using our own network protocol (transport layer), that is why you have some time delays.
