BSOD when connecting to an Omron PLC

Hi,

I get a BSOD on the client computer when I try to get online with an Omron PLC through UoN.
The reason given is NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS.

Both systems (server and client) run v5.0.5.

From here, what can I do to try to fix the issue?

Thanks,
Vincent Béron

Hi Vincent,
We need to investigate a kernel memory dump of your PC.
We sent you additional questions by email.

Hi Sergey,

(I post back on the forum to answer to your email from January 12th, because my answer bounced back twice since then)

Do you mean connecting to the USB device through only the client computer (locally)?
I’ve done it in the past (on the client side) without problem. I’ll do it again today to verify it still works.

(Note: I tried answering on Monday the 12th, but it bounced back on Friday morning the 16th from my ISP.)

I have just connected successfully to the USB device locally on the client computer.
What’s the next step?

Regards,
Vincent

Hi Vincent,

Please try to use your software to program the PLC on the client PC (not via USB over network) and let me know the results of your test.

Hi,

When I say connect, it really is communicate, program, command, get feedback (values) from it.

All of this work fine on the client computer.

Vincent

Blue Screen Of Death. The screen that pops up on Microsoft when you did absoultely nothing wrong but they tell you that you did anyways. It usually makes you restart your computer.
