Hi,
Could you make Usb over Network compatible with Nvidia's 3d Vision Infrared transmitter? Everything used to work up to until Nvidia's drivers version 280.26, but I guess they changed something in the device recognition.

Regards!

Hello,

NVIDIA can`t change something is USB redirection because only our software is responsible for USB redirection in this case. Could you please provide me with infomation about what have changed since they released the new version of the driver?

Are you able to "share" and redirect the device? Does it work locally(if you plug it directly to the computer) on the remote PC?

Hi,

When I first start the server, the transmitter is in "cold" state (red light flashing). When I make the connection first time, it goes to "ready" state (green light) and immediately disconnects. Now it remains in "ready" state with different device id (I guess) and I can connect to it. Windows recognizes it correctly, but when I try to configure the 3d with NVIDIA control panel, it doesn't recognize the transmitter (with the newest drivers).

I'm able to share the device similar to other devices just fine. 3d works when I plug it directly to the computer.

It would be so awesome to get this working again, because my projector and transmitter is in other room than my pc.

Thanks

I. I suppose you use version 4.7.4? I would like to ask you to upgrade to version 4.9 and to redirect the transmitter with the help of it. Also please do not forget that client and server should be of the same version.

II. Also please try the following scenarious:

1. Uninstall transmitter`s drivers;
2. Reboot the server computer;
3. Connect device locally and install drivers again.

III. If the issue persists try to install drivers on both computers: server and client. Test it and let me know the results.

Hi,
I'm sorry it took this long to respond, but I've been really busy lately.
Anyhow, here are the results:

I. This I tried about a month ago with no difference.
II. No difference, don't work.
III. I have a linux server, and I don't think Nvidia provides transmitter drivers for linux. I might try the server with Windows option when I have the time.

Any suggestions?

Can you provide us with the remote access to your device? All you need is to share the device in "USB over Network" and to configure port forwarding on any TCP-port to make your computer awailable outside the network.

I will connect your device remotely with the client part, install the drivers and try to reproduce the issue.

Ok,
I'll keep the server on a couple of days and open the port in the router.
I'll share my ip via email.
Note that the device is in "cold" state now.
