Windows Mobile device center

Hi,

I have set up a connection of a Windows Mobile device between my laptop and development VM (Windows 7). The connection succeeded but the WM device center on my VM does not start, so I cannot debug on my WM device.
This worked fine with win XP and activesync.
What do I have to check?

There are not many steps.

The windows mobile 6.5 device normally connects when you put it in the cradle.
When sharing with USB over Network, the connection on the server side is stopped.
After establishing the connection with the client, I suppose it should automaticaly connect to the windows mobile device center of the client side. This does not happen.

New info
In the event viewer of the client I see following message:
Windows Mobile-based device failed to connect due to communication (0x80072745) failure (see data for failure code).
