unsuccessful upgrade from UoN server 4.4 to 4.5.3

We've been using UoN successfully for some time, and upgraded successfully in the past too. When I upgraded the server side this morning it seemed to go well, but the license code was rejected as not able to work with this new version.
In addition, 4 or 5 of the dongles required installation, most did not. Of the ones that required installation, any attempt to install them resulted in an immediate hard reboot of the computer. The only option that did not reboot the computer was to cancel the install of the dongles.
The resulting installation worked okay with clients, but only those dongles that were discovered automatically and required no installation. I've not sorted out which ones they were yet as there are 12 or 14 of them.
I reverted the server software to version 4.4, and all the dongles were again recognized with out need for installation, and serving of licenses resumed normally.

The computer is as follows:
OS Name:  Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Version:  5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600
System Manufacturer:  micronpc.com
System Model:  PT84510A
System Type:  X86-based PC
Processor:  x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 4 GenuineIntel ~2392 Mhz
BIOS Version/Date:  Intel Corp. PT84510A.86A.0021.P03.0202251254, 2/25/2002
Total Physical Memory:  1,024.00 MB
Available Physical Memory:  530.85 MB
Total Virtual Memory:  2.00 GB
Available Virtual Memory:  1.96 GB

Thanks for any insight anyone might have on this issue.

Dear Slinse

Thank you for the information you shared with us.

Regarding your license. Your subscription period is over. That is why your key was rejected with the 4.5.3 version. Please contact our sales department for more details (sales@fabulatech.com)

If you are interested in resolving this issue please reproduce the "hard reboot" while using 4.5.3 version
Before the the reproducing follow the instructions how to configure
windows XP to make a kernel memory dump.

There are a lot of instructions in the Internet
here is one of them:
http://www.mcci.com/mcci-v5/support/howtos2.html

Please note that the default folder for saving dumps is %systemroot% folder.
You can change it if you wish.

After the configuration is done please delete  the old log files at %systemroot%\system32\ftusbsrv.log and start reproducing.
When you have reproduced it please find the dump file in the %systemroot% ( or
in the folder that you have selected) and send it to me.

Just upload it to our ftp
ftp://castle.colonet.net/upload/

This will help us in fixing the issue.

And please look for the log file that can be found at: %systemroot%\system32
The log file name is "ftusbsrv.log"
Send it to support@fabulatech.com along with a brief description of the issue and your system information file.

To get system information file  you need to do the following:
Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Information
File -> Save

Thanks in advance.

P.S And please do not forget to specify in your message the path to your dump file on our FTP.
