Hello
Actually i use an other software for sharing 2 usb dongles on a pc
I've a digi anywhere usb box for sharing a dongle with vmware esx
I'd like to connect all my dongle on anywhere usb box and connect this box to a vm, and after i would like to use usb-over-network to share each dongle.
At the begining, i have a blue screen between your software v4.4 and anywhere usb driver.
The probleme of the blue screen is solved.
But now, the problem is that i can't share my dongle.
I do a right click on the dongle, but nothing.
I've installed your beta 4.5 and now i don't see the dongle.
I've tested on differents OS x86 and x64
Thank you for your help

Unfortunately USB over Network will not work with Digi Anywhere USB, and all those issues are caused by this. You should use only one of these two products.

But thanks anyway for your interest in our software.

Will the problem with the anywhereUSB hardware be solved in the future? We are using the same setup as the topic starter (VMware with anywhereUSB) and now have to resort to using a physical machine as USB over Network Host. This is workable, but not the preferred situation.

vengineering,

As far as I understand the devices redirected to VMware cannot be shared by USB over Network server installed on the virtual machine?

This particular problem may be solved by a custom build of USB over Network made exclusively for this purpose. Please write to sales@fabulatech.com if you're interested in such a custom build.

Thanks
