connects and disconnects constantly

Hello there,

I am a new user of Usb over network and although it briefly did work correctly it now exhibits the following behavior:

When I start the software the USB device in question is on the list and I share it. The remote machine seems to connect OK but this seems to cause the usb device to become unplugged. It then appears again and the connection is made but then it is unplugged again. This takes about one second per cycle until I unplug the device. I have tried different usb ports - same result. Any ideas?

Best wishes

ajhuddle,

Please specify:
- type and model of USB device
- version of USB over Network
- OS's on both sides

any additional details about how this issue can be reproduced here in our lab will be appreciated.

Hello there!
Latest version of your software
The usb device is a Tmate - from Woodbox Radio. It is a usb knob used as a tuning knob, a volume control or in video editing.

Both computers are running windows xp.

I sometimes manage to get it to work but everytime the computers are restarted I get the connect then immediately disconnect scenario.

Best wishes

Andrew

Hi,

There are at least two latest versions, I need to know the number.

Anyway, I'm assuming it's 4.4, so please uninstall it from both sides, and then download the newest beta version 4.5 from:

Let me know if the problem is solved.
