we have a 2 Device-License USB-over-Network installed on a Windows 2008 Standard Hostsystem. It shares two Alladin Hardlock Dongles.
The Client is installed on a Windows 2008 SBS System running in Hyper-V on that Hostsystem.
The connection works fine in general, but the client loses its connection every few hours. The devices are not longer shared on the Host, so the client has no connection. After sharing an connecting the dongles again, everything is fine for the next few hours.
Server's been installed on the Windows XP SP3 computer (version 4.4) without any antivirus sofware and shared 2 USB Alladin HASP keys. Client's been installed on the virtual (VMWARE ESXI 4.0) Windows 2003 SP2 Std. server.
Sometimes connection has been lost with two keys, sometimes - with one. When we restart "USB over Network (Client) service" connection repairs.
Can you help us to solve this problem?
Regards, IT department of the "Sapsan Tea" company
Is it possible to re-connect the device without restarting the service (click connect button)? Does it start working in this case? If yes, please enable auto-connect in the properties. If only restart of the service solves the problem, please send all details of the issue to support@fabulatech.com and we'll start working on this.
