Sorry, I saw a post for Hyper-V suggesting either your product or the KernelPro product. I first tried your Remote Desktop version, which gave the "...Problem", then I tried the KernelPro product. I found that I could KernelPro product to work with the USB-UIRT if I disabled the Windows Firewall, so I decided to see if I had any better luck with USB over Network with the Firewall off. I did a restore of my computer to the previous day's backup (to remove all traces of the programs) and installed just USB over Network. Still no luck. The UI, when the device is initially plugged in, says: "eHome Infrared Transceiver - eHome Infrared Receiver (USBCIR)" Once I try to share, the UI says: "Port_#0001.Hub_#0005_Shared USB Device...Problem..." Not sure if it helps or not, but the MCE IR Receiver is guarded (not sure the right term) by UAC on Vista/Win7. I tried turning UAC off and running USB over Network as an Administrator but still had no luck. There's more information at the following link: http://www.osronline.com/ShowThread.cfm?link=104911 Thanks
