USB over Network Won't Uninstall Windows 7 Upgrade

background: On a Vista Ultimate machine I installed trial version of "USB over Network (Server) 4.2". HP wouldn't write a Vista driver for my HP scanner (bastards), so I loaded the scanner driver on a virtual XP machine using Virtual PC 2007. Of course on Virtual PC 2007 the USB port weren't available. So I got the scanner to work with the (client) version on the virtual machine. I sinced upgraded my machine to Windows 7 Ultimate. The new Windows Virtual PC in Windows 7 already has virtualization for the USB ports so I won't need "USB over Network (server) 4.2". For my application at least. I noticed that none of my USB devices are working. Looking in the device manager I noticed they are all attached under a fabulatech usb driver with a caution sign. I can uninstall the driver, however when I plug the device back in, it won't as Windows 7 for the correct driver and just assigns it to the fabulatech driver in the device manager. I tried to uninstall fabulatech "USB over Network (server) 4.2" from my machine and get the follwing error: "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2739." I tried using system restore, however it seems Windows 7 won't let you roll all the way back, so I couldn't go back far enough so that it would uninstall. How can I uninstall fabulatech with a corrupt uninstaller package? Can I manually remove the fabulatech drivers so Windows 7 will assign the correct drivers (files, registry, system variables, drivers, etc.)? Is there a way to fix the package? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Scott
