ActiveSync Issue using RDP

Hi, any help or comment on this issue would be appreciated.

I have my Windows Mobile plugged into my laptop (XP SP3) with UON Server (port 3333) running and sharing this device. I am then remote desktoping into another (XP SP3) running on VPC2007 on Windows 2003 R2 server, and have UON client running there. The connection is made (but not to ActiveSync) and then dropped at the client 30secs later. UON Server says it's still connected.

Also, trying to reconnect results in message "Cannot connect to this USB device due to server license limitations." Note: I am still trialling.

Thanks. Huh

Hi Chris,

I have sent you an e-mail message on 13-Feb-2009, but with no answer, so I decided to write you here.

Let's make one test in order to find out whether this problem is concerning to Virtual PC 2007. Please use different physical PC instead of Virtual Machine. And also please tell me whether you enter your virtual PC via RDP or in the common way.

Thanks.

Hi

I tested using a 'real' pc (actually Win2003 server) with activeSync installed - same result so I think its an ActiveSync compatibility issue rather than anything else.

Well, in this case we need to make a remote debugging. If it is possible for you please let me know whether I can use your registered e-mail to send you remote debugging details.

I have the same issue with the USB over Network product.  I'm using activesync and it won't connect.  I notice that the device appears for about 30 seconds in the device manager, but ActiveSync can't find the usb port and then it disappears.

Please let me know if there's a fix for this.

Jim, we already talked via Email and I put you on the waiting list for the Windows CE version.
I'll let you know as soon as it comes out.
