problem with two Alladin HSLP keys

I have a system with two Alladin Keys.  I want to share one and keep the other for the local system only.  When I try to stop sharing one of the keys both stop sharing.  They also seem to get the same properties like nick name.

Please advise.

Best regards,

Peter

Hi Peter,

Yes, we know this issue. Really the same devices get the same properties and all actions with one device lead to the same actions (automatically) with another one. We are working now to solve this issue and hope it will be fixed in the nearest future.

You can manage with this in such a way now: install USB over Network Client on remote PC and on local too. Share your devices and configure remote Client to connect one device by its ID and local Client to connect another device by its ID. You can see how do this here:
http://fabulatech.com/usb-over-network-client-help/advanced-connecting-options.html

And also enable auto-sharing option on Server and auto-connect option on Clients. So in such a way, when you plug in your keys, they will become automatically shared. First key will be automatically connected by remote Client and second key will become automatically connected by local Client. And that's all.

Please feel free to ask me your questions at any time if you need of course.

Thanks!

P.S. Hope you will try this variant and inform me about your results  Wink

Hello support team,

Just a question: do you have any plans regarding the progress for this issue's solveness?

We have the same issue.
Additionally the server seems to loose time to time the USB devices and after it founds them again the IDs differ from the originals so the connection via ID is not always possible.

I've seen that the version 3.8 has been released. Are there some release notes where the changes are logged or the one only possiblity to check if the issue is solved is to install the newest possible release?

But nevertheless - great product!
I had already pleasure to chat with support guys so I can say: great support as well!

Thanks,

Hi,

We are working to solve this certain issue, however it is hard to tell you the exact date of when it will be solved.

Concerning release notes for 3.8 version:
- Several serious stability improvements added
- Automatic update feature added allowing to be always up-to-date

So there is no fix for the issue with the similar devices yet  Sad

Thank you for your kind words  Smiley
