Timeline for Linux Client

Hi,

We have a pressing need to get a Linux client for use with USB over Network.  I see you say it is "Coming Soon".

What does that mean in terms of days/months?

Thanks,

Dear Ted.

USB Over Network Client Component for Linux is already available. Anyway, it is not a public release, it is just a beta-version.

Could you please let us know your OS version, kernel version and what are devices you are going to share?

Hi Keith,

Sorry for the delay, I was expecting an email notification of a reply.  No matter.  My test system is Red Hat Linux Enterprise 5, the uname command gives this:

2.6.18-8.el5xen #1 SMP i686 athlon i386

It's a 32-bit system.

Thanks!

Ted

Hi Keith

I'm trying to use a USB licence dongle on VMWare ESX running a FreeBSD guest.
Is there any hope that the client will also work on FreeBSD?

Thank you

Dear Gunnar!

Unfortunately, we have no Unix support.
We can't even predict whether it will be ever implemented.
