(i tried whatsmyip.com and put my ip in the "remote ip address or computer name:" box, and also tried my computer name but it didn't work.)

Dear Mike!

To share USB-device for Virtual PC please follow these steps.

1) Install Server Component to your physical PC.
2) Install Client Component to your Virtual PC.
3) Plug your USB-device to physical PC.

As it is shown on the scheme

4) You need to configure virtual LAN between your physical PC and virtual machine. After that please run ipconfig command in your command prompt on your Physical machine.

5) Choose needed IP and enter it to USB Over Network Client Component interface.
