Hello All,

Before I buy this product I want to make sure it works (kinda expensive...)
I have windwos vista and my engine management program won't work on this laptop. I need to use my usb to com cable so my devices can communicate. I have installed virtual pc 2007 and a fresh copy of windows xp in the vpc 2007.
My question is do I install the USB over network on the Vista or XP.
Just have overall problems trying to set this up. Any help would be great.

As far as I understand it, you need to work with serial device connected to your physical PC from your Virual PC.
You can achieve this result using our USB Over Network solution.

So here are some steps:
- install USB Over Network (Server) to your Vista
- connect your device and share it using USBNet (Server) shell
- install USB Over Network (Client) to your Windows XP on VPC 2007
- connect your device using USBNet (Client) shell.

This scenario will allow you to access your device as if it was directly plugged to your Virtual Machine.
