A little help

After evaluating several products I seem to think yours runs the best in my hardware configuration.  However, all of the products I have looked at seem to have the same problem.

I want to join to com ports together.  One port has NEMA data from a GPS.  The other port has NEMA data from a compass.

Problem:
Compass data looks good but GPS data has some extra CR and some of the data looks corrupted.  Both ports run at 4800 baud but the Compass comes at a faster frequency then the GPS.

Any think I can do that will improve the data?

You get this problem because Joining feature of Serial Port Splitter was developed mostly for the case when one application send (write) serial data to several physical COM ports. In your case one application tries to read serial data from two COM ports at the same time but this application, apparently, can not recognize correct data within mixed data received from the both ports.

Please email this problem in our Support Service and we will discuss possibility to customize our Joining feature especially for your case.
