I am using the trial version in order to test out the software. I am setting up Split Serial Ports, using Serial Port (COM12) which the device is connected to, Virtual Port (COM12 - Overlapped) and Virtual Port (COM13). COM12 is Read/Write and COM13 is Read only. The priority signal is set for COM12.
I can successfully open the third party software which uses COM12 to talk to the device. When I try and use Putty to connect to COM13, just so I can see the values that are sent across COM12, I get the following error:
Unable to open connection to COM13. Opening '\\.\COM13': Error 1359: An internal error occurred.
What am I doing wrong? Is it my setup?
