I am running Win 7 and I am trying to use a GlobalCache IP2SL http://www.globalcache.com/products/itach/ip2slspecs/ to control my Epson 1080 projector.

These are my settings...

It just keeps trying to connect.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello!

As far as I understand from your description red dot in the GUI of "Serial Port Redirector" turns yellow, status changes to "Connecting" and then just nothing happens.

1. Are there any errors or notifications?
2. In the description of you device I found the following string:
Bi-directional hardware RTS/CTS Flow Control

And according to your settings Flow Control is set to "none". You can try to change it.

3. Also I recommend you to try to disable static settings. In this case the software you use to connect the device will set everything automatically.

4. Does your device support telnet protocol? I didn`t find it in the description . So I suppose it is not compatible with telnet. As you know Serial Port Redirector works only with Telnet and raw data. The connection you tried to established used Telnet.

5. Did you create a server or a client virtual port in Serial Port Redirector?
