Creating an Activesync partnership with Pocket PC

Greetings,

I am testing the trial version and am having problems with the following:

1) Computer A at home, computer B at work
2) Computer A uses VPN over DSL to connect to computer B office
3) NSPK on computer A sharing COM port 1, computer B using computer A COM1 as computer B COM2
4) iPAQ Pocket PC connected to computer A via serial cable to COM1
5) selecting "get connected" on computer B Activesync creates an active sharing between both computers
6) iPAQ senses "get connected" sync and tries to connect
7) Connection fails: iPAQ conenction screen just disappears and computer B screen determines that no device is connected

I noticed that when computer B attempts to use the port, the virtual serial port conenction takes a while to be "active" and thus results in the iPAQ sensing the connection request first, stops then the COM is active (sounds strange but apparently that is the case where not all three: activesync, iPAQ and COM port sharing are all on sync).  I'm not sure if this is normal behavior but am I doing something wrong?  I think NSPK would be the perfect solution for corporate desktop synchronization if their PDA got hard reset and they need to recreate the partnership with the desktop back at the office.

thanks in advance,

Raul

You can try to use new 4.7.1 Network Serial Port Kit version. Incorrect operation of shared physical COM ports is fixed now so that has to solve your problem.
