video streaming

I would like to purchase yor product but I am not sure working with RDP is a good solution for me.

I need to log on to a remote desktop or server and use that server to do 2 way video conference.  I would like to use a webcam on my local desktop to send my video. Assuming that your product will give a good solution for this I still have a problem with incomming video.  With RDP is comes like a slide show. I do not get good video streaming.   I did get  good results with VMWare.
Is there a different version or RDP that you would suggest to use to get good results both ways?

thanks

In order to get the best performance of course I'd recommend you to use the most recent version of RDP 7.1. It is available in Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 SP1 only so if you want to use the most recent one there are only two connection options actually:

1. Windows 7 SP1 -> RDP 7.1 -> Windows 7 SP1
2. Windows 7 SP1 -> RDP 7.1 -> Windows Server 2008 SP1

May I know what OS are you using on both sides?

You can also play with RDP settings to achieve better performance. Are you accessing the remote server through RDP via the Internet or via the LAN?

I'm not sure about the video conferencing in the latest version of RDP. You can find some useful info on each version here:

BTW have you already tried our Webcam for Remote Desktop software?
